Lara Gates is a California born, Wisconsin raised artist working on her skills in watercolor, mixed media, and photography. Her inspiration primarily comes from nature, landscapes, and the human figure.​ Since 2017, the experiences Gates has had with members and fellow creatives of the Green Bay community have shaped her practice and plans to change the arts and culture scene.​​ Gates graduated from the University of Wisconsin -Green Bay in 2025, with a Bachelor's degree in Arts Management and a minor in Communication.
